Being a Dad

young dad and baby

Congratulations, you’re going to be a Dad!

Dads are really important in their baby’s life.   Whether you are living with your baby or not you can still be really involved and build a strong relationship together. If you haven't spent much time around babies and small children you might be feeling pretty anxious about what to do. Being a Dad is about being there for your baby and giving him or her lots of love and attention. While you might think because you are still in school or maybe not working yet, that you can't give anything to your baby. Wrong! Your baby will be happier spending time with you than he/she would be with an expensive toy.

You don't have to know everything at the start, babies don't come with an instruction book. You and your baby will learn about each other together, so enjoy this time.
