To ensure you stay well and your baby develops in a healthy environment, you should keep your body as fit and well nourished as you possibly can. Your baby is depending on you for all the nutrition and goodness it needs to grow and develop. Throughout your pregnancy your doctor and the staff at the ante-natal clinics will carry out blood and urine (pee) tests to make sure that your body is coping well with the pregnancy. If they give you advice to follow it is important that you do so. There are many things that will help to keep yourself and your baby healthy.
